This is an official Sources Sought. A requirement exists for a survey of Building 430, 433, and 435 Cooling Water Piping at Space Base Delta 2. Large amounts of metal rust flakes have been found lodged in Cooling Towers, Chillers, and Generators that support these buildings. This is indicative of pipe wall thinning brought on by heavy internal corrosion. The U.S. Air Force 460th Contracting Squadron at Buckley SFB, CO is posting this Sources Sought to find potential vendors capable of providing Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT) for Cooling Water Pipes. The government is searching the market for contractors capable of providing Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT) in a timely manner. This must be done without shutting off the water. What certifications are required for a contractor to conduct UTT? how long does UTT take? What are the risks? Are there other, less risky forms of testing the pipes? Has the government overlooked anything for this requirement in the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS)? Responses are to be sent via email to Contract Specialist (CS), A1C Guillermo Torres at contact@example.gov and Contracting Officer (CO) TSgt Brittainy Shirley at contact@example.gov NLT 10 AM MDT, 17 June 2024. Please include the Sources Sought Identification Number or title in the subject line of the email submission. SUBMISSION DETAILS: Please include questions, concerns, considerations for this testing Questions seeking clarification that expect responses are due by 13 June 2024 We would greatly appreciate that all responses include a projected quote Please include the following information in your response: - Company name, address, and point of contact, with email address and phone number - CAGE Code and/or Unique Entity Identification (UEID) number
