Uncle Morris Road Decommissioning will decommission 10 miles of mostly non-system roads. These roads have been identified in the Robo Elk EIS as unneeded for the minimum transportation system. The Elk Creek watershed is a municipal watershed for the town of Elk River. Removal of these roads will be a long term benefit to water quality in this watershed. Surveys of existing roads will be completed by the Palouse Clearwater Environmental Institute (PECI) under a partnership agreement. The project will meet the following land management objectives: A.
