The Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Prison Industries (FPI) UNICOR central office in Washington, DC has identified a need to procure for modernization of three (3) passenger elevators and one (1) freight elevator. Also as a requirement, the elevator motor room must have its own separate entrance. Therefore the contractor will close off the current entrance from the engineer's room and build an outside entry door with stairs leading to the new entry way into the motor room to comply with the new building codes.
