UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY (UPS) MAINTENANCE

The Western Area Power Administration’s Desert Southwest Region is seeking a small business contractor to provide comprehensive Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) maintenance services at its Phoenix, Arizona facility under a solicitation set aside exclusively for small businesses with NAICS code 811210. The contract calls for expert inspection, testing, preventive maintenance, and repair of two Toshiba UPS units, associated static switches, flooded battery systems, and other critical components including C&D and BAE batteries and Cyberex STS units, with work required to be performed Monday through Friday between 6:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., and only in the presence of a WAPA representative. The scope mandates manufacturer-certified personnel to conduct annual load assessments, integration testing with Automatic Transfer Switches and backup generators, calibration, cleaning, diagnostics, and component replacements, all while strictly adhering to OSHA regulations under 29 CFR 1904, 1910, 1925, and 1926.
