Union Cemetery North Midstory Removal The project is located on the Hoosier National Forest, Brownstown Ranger District, Martin County IN. The purpose of the project is to perform mechanical treatment on approximately 12 acres of early succession land with optional acres up to 17 acres and an option of herbicide treatment of Non-Native Invasive Species (NNIS) on 2.5 acres. A 50 foot buffer will be left untouched by mechanical treatment along the road. The buffer will be the area treated for NNIS only. Midstory (clearing) work will begin on September 15th and run through September 30th. NNIS work, if awarded, can be completed from the date of award through September 30, 2017. Solicitation materials and maps will be uploaded to this site by 3/31/2017. Vendors must be registered in www.sam.gov in order to submit an offer. Obtaining a DUNS number and registering in SAM are free of charge.
