SOLICITATION NO. F11PS01726 PROJECT TITLE: Union Slough NWR Drain Tile Replacement PROJECT LOCATION: U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 3 Union Slough National Wildlife Refuge 1710 360TH ST TITONKA, IA 50480-7086 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of providing superintendence, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to supply and install 1000 to 1100 feet of 18 inch diameter dual walled non-perforated plastic (HDPE) pipe. In addition, the old 16 inch clay tile will need to be crushed and/or removed for a minimum of 75 feet in three separate locations. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is a set-aside for small business. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 238910, Site Preparation Contractors, with a size standard of $14 Million. The Solicitation Package will be available via electronic commerce at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about September 15, 2011 with Quotes due on or about September 22, 2011. The Solicitation Package will include the following: An itemized Schedule, Scope of Work, Drawings, and Prevailing Wage Determination.
