All bid submissions for the renovation project at the William N. Pennington Student Achievement Center must be submitted electronically through the designated website, as BCN Purchasing no longer accepts hard copy documents for any solicitations. Vendors are required to register with the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) supplier registration system, which is a one-time process, to ensure they can receive payments. Existing vendors should verify their registration status online, and any pending approvals must be completed before they can be paid. Bidders can begin preparing their responses once the solicitation is released and save their work in the NGEM system, allowing for timely uploads of all required documents before the response deadline, which is March 7, 2024. After the bid closing, the list of bidders and the bid tabulation will be publicly accessible online. The project involves renovating existing space to create two offices and five workstations, with an estimated cost range between $90,000 and $160,000. The work is scheduled to start on May 6, 2024, and must be completed by July 9, 2024, with liquidated damages of $500 per day for delays. Contractors awarded the project will need to carry various insurances, including general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, pollution liability, and possibly builder’s risk insurance if the contract exceeds $100,000. The solicitation is identified as ITB 8952 Addendum 2, posted on February 15, 2024, with a response deadline of March 7, 2024. The primary contact for inquiries is Ryan Caddel, reachable via email or phone.

**BCN Purchasing will no longer accept hard copy bid documents in response to any solicitation including, but not limited to: ITB, RFP, RFQ, or CMAR solicitations. All documents must be submitted electronically via this website.
**NSHE recently migrated to a new payment system that requires all of our vendors register with the system in order for our Controllers office to allow us to pay you. Please visit the following link for the NSHE Supplier Registration system to sign up for a new account: https://suppliers.nevada.edu/Membership/Secure/CreateUser.aspx. This process only needs to be completed once. If you believe you already have an account set up please confirm by searching for your company at this link: https://suppliers.nevada.edu/FindSupplier.aspx. If your company is listed and shows the Supplier Status as anything other than “Accepted” then there are still steps that must be completed before your registration is approved.
**Once an ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR is released for bidding, bidders may begin working on their response and uploading required documents without submitting their bid early. The NGEM system allows for bidders to save their work. Please make use of this capability in order to give your company enough time to review your response and upload any other documents on the day the ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR closes so that you do not miss the cut-off time.
**Once the ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR closes and the responses are unsealed electronically, the list of bidders/responders will be immediately posted online and available to the public for viewing. This document can be accessed by clicking on Closed Bid Opportunities, selecting the specific opportunity, and scrolling down to Bid Documents. The Bid Tabulation document will be available for review there.
