The objective of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit Proposals that will enable the City of Charlotte to determine which Company(ies) will best meet the City’s need for landscape services including, but not limited to installation of trees, shrubs, perennials, turf grass, mulch, and groundcover; as well as demolition, site preparation, and stump grinding services. The City is seeking firms whose combination of experience and expertise will provide timely and cost-effective services to the City. One or more contractors will be selected to provide services.
Projects in these scopes of work include but are not limited to: Neighborhood Tree Planting in Rights-of-Way for the City Arborist Group; Tree planting on private property for the Canopy Care program; Stump grinding in Rights-of-Way for the City Arborist Group; CIP landscape installations; CIP Stormwater landscape installations; and Landscape renovations in medians, green spaces, and City-owned facilities for the Landscape Operations Group.
All work and materials shall be in accordance with, and shall conform to, the requirements of the current edition of the City of Charlotte-Landscape Management Division’s Landscape Construction Standards Manual (LCSM).
