THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. TENTATIVE DATE FOR ISSUANCE OF THIS SOLICITATION: MARCH 2023 SOLICITATION: FA568223R0004 THIS WORK WILL BE PERFORMED ENTIRELY IN ROMANIA AND THEREFORE IN ACCORDANCE WITH DFARS 225.1103(3) PROVISION 252.225-7042 AS LISTED IN PROVISION 252.204-7007 ALTERNATE A SHALL APPLY. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 36.204: BETWEEN $1,000,000 AND $5,000,000. SCOPE OF PROJECT UPGRADE COMMUNICATION INFRASTRUCTURE IN CAMPIA TURZI AIR BASE (CTAB) ROMANIA A DETAILED SUMMARY OF THE PRINCIPAL ITEMS OF WORK CAN BE OBTAINED BY CONSULTING THE PROJECT TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS. NOTE: ALL QUANTITIES INDICATED IN THE PROJECT DOCUMENTS FURNISHED BY THE GOVERNMENT, INCLUDING THE CONSTRUCTION COST BREAKDOWN, ARE ESTIMATES AND THE GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCURACY OF THE ESTIMATED QUANTITIES. THE PERFORMANCE SHALL REQUIRE A COMPLETED PROJECT ON A LUMP SUM BASIS. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OFFEROR TO CALCULATE, FORESEE AND PERFORM ALL QUANTITIES OF WORK MANIFESTLY NECESSARY TO DELIVER A COMPLETE PROJECT BASED ON ITS OVERALL SCOPE. SITE VISIT: AN ORGANIZED SITE VISIT WILL BE SCHEDULED AT THE DATE AND MEETING POINT SPECIFIED IN THE SOLICITATION. NORMALLY PARTICIPANTS WILL MEET IN THE PARKING AREA OF THE ROMANIAN AIR FORCE 71st AIR BASE, C'MPIA TURZII, IN CLUJ COUNTY - ROMANIA. VISITORS SHALL STOP ON THE DIRT ROAD TO THE RIGHT OF THE FRONT GATE AND WAIT FOR AN ESCORT TO GO OUT AND BRING THEM TO THE ECP. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: IT IS THE OFFEROR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT THE OFFER REACHES THE OFFICE DESIGNATED FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS WITHIN THE TIME ESTABLISHED IN THE SOLICITATION, AS AMENDED.
