NA THE SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING CONVERSION AND REPAIR NEWPORT NEWS VIRGINIA, INTENDS TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER/CONTRACT TO TABET MANUFACTURING, 1336 BALLENTINE BLVD. NORFOLK, VA. 23504, FOR UPGRADE OF INTERCOMMUNICATION UNITS LS-519 TO TOUCHPAD SYSTEM. THIS PURCHASE IS TO BE AWAREDED UNDER SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES AND OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION AS AUTHORIZED UNDER FAR 6.302-1. THE AWARD DATE IS ANTICIPATED TO BE APRIL 3, 2003. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE AND TELEPHONE OR FAX OR E-MAIL REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED.
