55 CONS/LGCZ, Offutt AFB NE intends to award a sole source extension to DC Group Inc, contract FA4600-11-C-0015, under authority 10 USC 2304(c )(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) provides that: For DoD, NASA, and the Coast Guard, "services may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of follow-on contracts for the continued provision of highly specialized services when it is likely that award to any other source would result in (B) unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements." The UPS Mx Contract, FA4600-11-C-0015, is a Firm Fixed Price contract with a base and four option years. It is responsible for the performance of preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and emergency repairs, to facility UPS systems located at USSTRATCOM, and within various 55 Wing agencies on Offutt AFB, NE supporting the USSTRATCOM mission. This requirement is for 2 UPS and batteries (modules) and all service and maintenance IAW the PWS for the remainder of the contract. Equipment rating is 100kVA with 12V batteries inside cabinets with bolted covers behind the doors. This requirements is roughtly equivalent to work already on the contract for the B597 and B598 units.
