USAID/Georgia is preparing to hold a presolicitation conference in late September 2023 for the Human Rights for Vulnerable Groups Program. This event aims to facilitate collaboration and the creation of consortia among potential offerors, subcontractors, and grantees, with a particular focus on encouraging local organizations to participate as prime contractors. The conference will offer an opportunity to gauge interest and build partnerships ahead of the anticipated Request for Proposals (RFP), which is expected to be released in mid-to-late October 2023. Additional details about the conference will be provided at the beginning of September 2023. The overarching goal of the Program is to address the human rights challenges faced by vulnerable groups in Georgia, including persons with disabilities, victims of gender-based violence, vulnerable children, and the LGBTQI+ community. The initiative seeks to support the development of responsive government policies and services, enhance public awareness, and strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations for effective advocacy and monitoring. The solicitation aligns with NAICS code 541618 and is managed by USAID’s Caucasus office based in Tbilisi, Georgia, with Meagan Schronce designated as the point of contact.

USAID/Georgia is planning to organize a presolicitation conference in late September 2023 for the above-reference USAID Human Rights for Vulnerable Groups Program (the Program). The objective of the presolicitation conference, among other things, is to provide a forum for potential collaboration and formation of consortia amongst potential offerors, subcontractors and grantees and to gauge and promote interest of local organizations to participate as the prime contractor. USAID/Georgia will issue a further notification of the additional details of the event at the beginning of September 2023. USAID currently expects to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) in mid-to-late October 2023. The goal of the Program is to address human rights needs of the vulnerable groups (including but not limited to, persons with disabilities, victims of gender based violence, vulnerable children, and the LGBTQI+ community) by supporting responsive government policies and services, raising public awareness, and strengthening civil society organizations for effective advocacy and monitoring.
