Dear Interested Parties: The United States Agency for International Development Mission to South Sudan (USAID/South Sudan) intends to issue a solicitation -Ju The overall goal for Data Cabling project is to replace an old and dilapidated infrastructure that is crumbling and worn out. This infrastructure is used to connect and provide the internet and Network services at the US government residential compound (RC) in Juba South Sudan, to clients. Attached is the draft Statement of Work. As a pre-solicitation notice IAW FAR Part 5.204, USAID is not seeking responses or feedback for this pre-solicitation notice and will not answer any questions. Prospective Offerors are advised that this procurement is subject to internal USAID approvals and the availability of funds. Interested parties are advised that this is not a solicitation, and it in no way obligates USAID to issue a solicitation nor a commitment by USAID to pay for any costs associated with any subsequent Solicitation. This is a new requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code contemplated for this action is 237130 (Cable laying e.g Fiber optics, electricity, marine, Telephone, cable Television) including underground. This notice satisfies the synopsis requirement in FAR 5.2. If a solicitation is issued, all necessary information will be supplied at the time it is posted at sam.gov. Questions/requests for information will not be responded to until the solicitation is issued. Interested parties are advised to periodically monitor the afore-mentioned website and solicitation number for updates concerning this procurement.
