DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The contractor shall remove 15 kV SF6 gas insulated pad-mounted 5-way and 4-way switches, 15 kV lightning arresters and elbows connectors and provide new Vacuum Fault Interrupter (VFI) FR3 biodegradable fluids, 15 kV, 6-way, and 5-way pad-mounted switches. This includes replacing existing 15 kV lightning arresters, fault indicator devices and 15 kV elbow connectors. The work also includes the securing of the new pad-mounted switches. MAGNITUDE (FAR 36.204 (d)): $1,000,000 - $5,000,000 LOCATION OF WORK: Andersen AFB, Guam PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 540 calendar days RESTRICTION TO SMALL BUSINESS: This acquisition is being competed as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237130, with a small business size standard of $45 million. The eventual contract for this acquisition is contemplated to be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP).
