Project Overview L3Harris Technologies (L3Harris) has been contracted by the New York State Thruway Authority (NYSTA) to provide a new Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system supporting communications across the organization. The system will support NYSTA personnel who provide essential services along the Thruway, including snow removal, road repair, roadway maintenance and related work. The project includes 54 communications sites along the Thruway corridor from Buffalo, New York, to New York City, New York.
