The synopsis is for a pre-solicitation notification only. NO SOLICITATION IS ATTACHED. The General Services Administration (GSA), Region 05, is seeking a qualified firm to furnish all labor, parts and materials to replace carpet, remove wallpaper and repaint, and install new base at the Winfield Denton Federal Building & U.S. Post Office, 101 NW Martin Luther King Jr., Blvd., Evansville, IN., 47708. The construction performance period is 30 calendar days upon receipt of notice to proceed. This procurement is a total small business set aside. Funds are presently available. The North American Industry Classification Code is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5 million. The total estimated construction cost for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 This is a negotiated procurement; there will NOT be a public opening. The awardee will be competitively chosen using Source Selection (FAR 15.3) procedures. The objective of the Source Process is to select a proposal that represents the best value to the Government. The following factor will be considered when selecting a contractor: Past performance. Past Performance will be significantly more important than Price. The solicitation will be available on or about November 21, 2018. The Government reserves the right to make award on initial offers. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing the secure website, FedBizOpps (FBO). FBO is designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information and is fully integrated with other electronic Government initiatives, including the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov).
