This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued.


The solicitation number is 70Z02926QGALV0068


. This combined synopsis constitutes a solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses.


This acquisition is Total Small Business Set Aside.  The NAICS is 561710.  The contract type will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The government proposes to solicit from the attached scope of work.  Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses and Department of Labor Wage Rates for Services are included in this order and are applicable.


Vendors doing business with the Coast Guard must be registered or be willing to register with the System Award Management at www.SAM.gov.


This solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Base + 4 option years Service Contract awarded to the offeror with the Lowest Price/Technically Acceptable methodology. Evaluation Process:  The quote will be evaluated to determine technical acceptability and a fair and reasonable price. Offerors must be actively registered in System for Award Management.


The United States Coast Guard Sector Houston & Base Galveston Engineering department, TX is accepting proposals for qualified individuals or firms service to maintain linens The Contractor shall provide pest control services based on the attached performance work statement.



It is mandatory to examine the scope of work, and to visit the facility as per FAR 52.237-1 to take field measurements, evaluations, etc., and become familiar with existing conditions under which the work will be performed. After the award of contract, a pre-conference will be held prior to starting the work at Coast Guard Station South Padre Island.

FAR 52.237-1 -- Site Visit (Apr 1984). Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.


The Government Point of Contact (POC) and Onsite support/supervisor for this work is Mr. Timothy Florez-Adams Timothy.J.FLOREZADAMS@uscg.mil or (409) 766-4856  All work shall be coordinated through the POC to minimize operational impacts to the unit during the execution of the work.
