Full Description

This procurement covers the design, manufacture and installation of one (1) boiler Deaerating Feed Tank (DFT) and all of its associated supporting equipment for installation on USCGC HEALY (WAGB 20) located in Seattle, Washington. The purpose of the DFT is to condition ship's boiler feedwater before it enters the ship's two boilers. This procurement DOES include the installation of the DFT, all hardware and components. Material to be provided but not limited to: One (1) deaerating feed tank package that should be complete with DFT, feedwater piping, vent, gate valves, pumps, gauges, level controls, relief valves, feedwater piping supply, bypass, and overflow piping between the condensate and the DFT, feedwater supply and return piping from the DFT to the boilers. The system should also contain a PLC to control and monitor the boilers, burners and deaerating feed tank. Feedwater treatment system must be NSTM 220V2 compliant. Design must be supported by calculations, diagrams, arrangement drawings and technical publications. Drawings and technical publications are required to be approved before production. Vendor shall supply Provisioning Technical Data (PTD), Attachment 1, with their proposal response that includes certified technical manuals and drawings describing the deaerating feed tank package, control system, and motor controller to provide the United States Coast Guard (USCG) with sufficient information to produce Cutter specific installation drawings. The Vendor shall supply Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP), Attachment 2, on the system and components concurrent with the delivery of the equipment to allow the USCG to produce maintenance procedure cards (MPCs) and other logistical support documentation. Engineering data shall also include the PLC code (where applicable) for operation of the system. The Vendor shall provide on-site technical support for training, system testing, commissioning, and certification. The Vendor shall provide maintenance parts lists and a recommended onboard repair parts (OBRP) list for all components.
