USFWS-LITTLE PEND OREILLE NWR-DESIGN & ADMI

This is a special notice provided for informational purposes only, prepared in accordance with FAR 5.2- Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) Joint Administrative Operations, Acquisition and Property Operations, Goods and Services Operations located at 911 NE 11th Ave. Portland, OR 97232 plans to issue an award in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) to Fowler, Steven dba Ent Enterprises for a forestry habitat improvement project including a commercial timber harvest. Timber sale planning and implementation on a National Wildlife Refuge requires in-depth knowledge of the Refuge Comprehensive Conservation Plan, the Refuge Habitat Management Plan, as well as the requirements, policies, and guidelines governing the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Ent Enterprises has intimate knowledge of the unique requirements of this work and has performed similar projects for the refuge in the past. For this reason, it has been determined that Ent Enterprises is the only vendor able to perform the services for this requirement. This notice is not a request for proposal/quote or invitation for bid. A solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with this notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the proposed services can provide supporting documents demonstrating capability for future reference. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred in response to this notice.
