Full Description

The Government intends to make a limited sole-source award to either IMECO, Inc. or Johnson Controls, Inc., for the procurement of an electric motor from York Refrigeration of Hoejbjerg Denmark (Original Equipment Manufacturer; OEM) which is utilized for USNS CARL BRASHEAR's Cargo Hold. IMECO, Inc. and Johnson Controls, Inc., are the only two OEM-authorized parts providers for York Refrigeration parts required to support MSC's T-AKE Class of Ships. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
