There is no solicitation, specifications, or drawings available at this time. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. Military Sealift Command - Norfolk contracting office is seeking eligible businesses for the Mid-Term Availability (MTA) on the United States Navy Ship (USNS) GUADALUPE (T-AO 200) commencing on or about 01 August 2016 for forty-three (43) calendar days. The USNS Guadalupe has a length of 677 ft., a Breadth of 97 ft., a draft of 35 ft., installed power of 16,000 hp per shaft, propulsion of two medium speed Colt-Pielstick PCA-2/2 10V-570 diesel engines, speed at 20 knots, and a tonnage at 31,200 deadweight tons. Work is to be performed at the Contractor's facility on or about the above mentioned dates. Area of Consideration is West Coast. Estimated date of Solicitation is on or about 13 March 2016. Major work items associated with this availability include General Services, Clean and Gas Free Tanks, Port ME Clutch Coupling Overhaul, Varios Motors Overhaul, Various Pumps Overhaul, Winches Overhaul, Lube Oil Purifiers Replacement, Steering Gear Control System Repair, Winch Control Booth Refurbishment & Repair, Topping Wich Overhaul Repair, and FAS UNREP Block & Sheave Overhaul.
