The Government is seeking qualified industry partners to respond to the United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) Command and Control Facility (C2F) Design-Build Contractor (DBC) Challenge at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
This effort seeks a Design-Build Contractor to deliver an approximately 800,000 gross-square-foot, mission-ready command and control facility through a collaborative Progressive Design-Build (PDB) approach. The scope includes design, construction, secure facility infrastructure, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Technology (C4IT) integration, Fixtures, Furniture and Equipment (FF\&E), commissioning, and accreditation.
Interested organizations must review the full Challenge Statement and associated documents under the Documents tab for detailed requirements, eligibility criteria, evaluation factors, and proposal submission instructions.
## Problem Statement
The USSPACECOM C2F requires an integrated delivery approach that goes beyond traditional MILCON construction. The project must bring together complex secure facility design, construction, C4IT infrastructure, specialized security requirements, commissioning, and accreditation within an accelerated schedule.
Successful execution will require multidisciplinary expertise, effective collaboration, transparent project controls, and innovative approaches to managing cost, schedule, risk, and technical complexity.
## Overall Objective
The Government's objective is to identify a highly qualified and experienced Design-Build Contractor capable of delivering the USSPACECOM C2F as a fully operational, resilient warfighting platform.
The project will leverage collaborative Progressive Design-Build best practices to accelerate traditional Military Construction (MILCON) delivery timelines while meeting critical security, technical performance, mission assurance, and operational requirements.
