Replace existing Sewer pipe with HDPE sewer pipe main along with the existing sanitary sewer manholes to bring the system up to current UFC standards of construction. The work shall include: Design build. Excavate and replace approximately 6,800 linear feet of sewer mains. Provide an imported fill material to be placed around the new sewer main piping. Backfill and compact IAW the UFC. Install warning tape. (maximum of 12 inches above new pipe). Excavate and replace all manholes. Grout and seal all pipe entrances into manholes to prevent inflow/infiltration of rain and ground water. If necessary, raise the manhole cover to an elevation of 2 inches above the existing grade to prevent storm water runoff from pooling on and around the covers. Provide sanitary sewer by-pass pumping as required to keep the system fully operational during the construction. Laterals from houses are PVC.
