Utility Pole Replacement Project 725-6US-1649

Caltrans has approved an encroachment permit for Southern California Edison to replace an existing 50-foot Class 3 wood utility pole along State Route 138 at E Palmdale Blvd in Palmdale, California, at postmile 45.837 in the eastbound direction. The replacement pole will be a new 50-foot Class 2 wood pole installed in the exact same location on the sidewalk, with no relocation of public utilities or acquisition of additional right-of-way. As part of the work, 230 feet of cable and 174 feet of span guy wire currently within Caltrans right-of-way will be removed.
