This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation TIRNO-10-Q-00179 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) with the evaluation and award prescribed in FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-41, and the size standard is $7 million. This is a set-aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 453998. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is looking to purchase (200) V-Line Top Drawer Pistol Safes (2912-S), Gold Trim with Department of Treasury, Criminal Investigation, Special Agent badge etched in gold centered on top, five button mechanical lock.
