Request Statement The U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD) seeks information regarding existing commercial roll on/roll off (RO/RO) capacity from a fully crewed U.S. flag vessel(s). Desired Capabilities MARAD is seeking 300,000 militarily useful sq.ft of commercial RO/RO capacity from a fully crewed U.S. flag vessel(s) ready to load at a U.S. port within 10 to 15 days. Militarily useful is defined as follows: Decks must have 350 psf (medium decks) or 550 psf (heavy decks) with an overhead clearance of at least 9'-6". Ramps must handle a minimum SWL of 70 long tons, using a safety factor of 2. Submittals To assist us in our review process, please provide the following information in your submittal: 1.
