The Department of Defense Dependents Schools has new requirements for daily, special education and sure start school bus transportation services for school year 2003 - 2004. The requirement consists of transporting school aged students to and from school on a daily basis, Monday - Friday, from September 2003 - June 2004. The following communities are being resolicited in the United Kingdom: Alconbury and High Wycombe. The planned contract type is a firm fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract with a one-year base period and four (4) one-year option periods as well as an additional 3 award term years. These acquisitions will be conducted on an unrestricted basis under full and open competition. Contract award will be evaluated using a low price technically acceptable basis for the source selection process. The solicitations are now expected to be available on or about 02 April 2003. DEPO is issuing these solicitations electronically. A pre-proposal conference date will be announced in the solicitations. Interested parties may access the solicitations at http://www.eps.gov or hard copies will be available upon request from the DODDS European Procurement Office.
