SRC requires two (2) separate complete cooling water packages for a Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM) furnace serving a Rare Earth metallization plant in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The VIM furnaces require a closed loop cooling water system to remove heat generated during induction melting process from vacuum induction melting furnaces and to maintain the required inlet water conditions for safe and reliable operation.
