Vallejo Home Complex Exterior Preservation and Fire Hardening

The California Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking a contractor for the Vallejo Home Complex Exterior Preservation and Fire Hardening project at Sonoma State Historic Park in Sonoma, California. This effort focuses on critical preservation repairs and fire resiliency upgrades to protect the buildings and their internal collections. The scope of work is divided by structure, with the Vallejo Home requiring exterior preservation including the repair of historic wood, restoration of carved eave trim, siding, porches, and dormers, and the installation of bird-deterrent measures following an assessment of woodpecker damage.
