This unrestricted indefinite quantity contract solicitation is for the procurement of fuel control metering valves for the Freedom Fighter F-5 aircraft. The contract features a 12 month ordering period with an option to extend the term for an additional 48 months, with estimated annual quantities of 32 units. Due to the critical application and configuration control nature of the item, Government First Article Testing is required, with delivery timelines set at 180 days after receipt of order for samples and 141 days following approval for production units. The procurement process utilizes a reverse auction and evaluates awards based on price, past performance, and other specified factors. Because the solicitation contains militarily critical technical data and is subject to export controls, only Department of Defense certified businesses with a valid DD Form 2345 may access the full documentation. Interested parties must submit written proposals via the DLA Internet Bid Board System or fax by the June 2015 deadline.
