This contract solicits repair services for a regulating valve (VALVE,REGULATING,FL) under solicitation number N0010426QLB01, issued by Navsup Weapon Systems Support Mech within the Department of Defense. The contract emphasizes a firm-fixed-price arrangement with a required Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT) of 180 days for assets, measured from the physical receipt of the item at the contractor's facility until final government acceptance. The Government mandates source inspection and reserves the right to enforce price reductions for delays beyond the RTAT, except for excusable delays. The contractor must verify nomenclature, part number, and NSN before responding, and any substitutions or changes to design must be pre-approved through formal change orders. Payment is coordinated through Wide Area Workflow Payment Instructions, and freight terms are FOB Origin with handling managed by Navy or Proxy Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV). The scope includes adherence to contract quality requirements, following contractor repair/overhaul standards, MIL-STD-130 marking, and shipping in compliance with MIL-STD 2073 packaging. The contract also stipulates compliance with various federal and military standards, submission of records for inspection, and quality assurance obligations, ensuring all repairs meet original specifications. If an item is deemed beyond repair, a negotiated Testing and Evaluation fee may apply. Contractors must provide detailed quotes, including pricing and RTAT commitments, and must be authorized distributors of the original manufacturer. Technical documentation and specifications are obtainable through designated government channels, and the contract requires strict adherence to distribution and security protocols for government documents and technical data.
