AI Contract Overview
The United States Coast Guard's Aviation Logistics Center plans to award a sole source Basic Ordering Agreement call to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation for specific items identified in the contract. This procurement is being conducted under the designation SPE4A1-22-G-0005 and is based on the determination that the required items are available from only this original equipment manufacturer. The contract falls under the NAICS code 336413, with a size standard of 1,250 employees, and is unrestricted since a previous small business set-aside has been removed. Delivery is expected within 200 days after order receipt, with the government encouraging early shipments at no extra cost. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the point of origin, managed by the Defense Contract Management Agency. A solicitation number is assigned strictly for tracking purposes, and no formal solicitation package will be issued. However, quotations from interested sources will be accepted until 2:00 PM Eastern Time on May 28, 2026, and will be considered at the government's discretion. The contract also stipulates that several standard federal acquisition regulations and representations typically required by the System for Award Management will not be enforced or considered for award decisions. This acknowledgment reflects updates lagging policy changes and clarifies that entities are not required to adjust their registrations to remove certain provisions in SAM. The point of contact for submission and inquiries includes designated representatives within the Coast Guard’s procurement division. Award decisions will be based primarily on a determination of fair and reasonable pricing after evaluating any responses received within the stated deadline.
