This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 


The purpose of this contract is for the contractor to provide a complete after-market alteration of vehicle.  The intent of the contract is for a contractor to provide and install after-market components and accessories on a government-furnished vehicle.  The vehicle will be a newly manufactured cab and chassis pick-up truck.


The work involves the installation of bodies, components and accessories including a utility body, tire mounts, mud flaps, back-up alarms, back-up camera, extra lights, paint to match vehicle.


The final product shall be a complete, fully operational, and certified vehicle. In the event of any dimensional inconsistencies with the provided vehicle, these specifications, etc., the Contractor shall be responsible to contact the Government for clarifications or modifications to these specifications to ensure proper fit and operation of the completed project.


Solicitation number 1240BD27Q0003 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).


The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336211 Motor Vehicle Body Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1500 Employees.  The Service code is 2510 Vehicular Cab, Body, and Frame Structural components. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources with experience doing the same work may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. 


The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. Completed vehicle is to be delivered to Colville National Forest, Supervisors Office, 765 So. Main, Colville WA 99114.  Cost of transport is to be included in the quote.   Vendor is responsible for the arrangement and payment of transport.
