This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items
prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.2
(DEVIATION) as supplemented with additional information included
in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation; offers are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is
FLT0018-26 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For
Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated
provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal
Acquisition Circular 2026-01. The North American Industry
Classification System code is 3363330.
This requirement is small business set-aside
UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc., intends to enter into a
one (1) year base, plus four (4) option years fixed pricedindefinite
delivery-indefinite quantity type contract for:

Solicitation is issued as a one (1) base plus one (4) Option
Years fixed-priced indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity type
contract with an Economic Price Adjustment for NAICS 336330 –
Motor Vehicle Steering and Suspension Components

Offerors who do not agree with the Producer Price Index listed
above are required to submit the price index that they believe
is correct to the contracting officer at least five (5) calendar
days prior to the due date for offers. The index submitted will
be evaluated and changed by amendment to the solicitation if
necessary.
SOLICITATION IS SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE.
NON-MANUFACTURER RULE APPLIES: A recipient of a contract setaside
for small business, other than the actual manufacturer or
processor, must provide the products of a small business.
The government reserves the right to request bid samples from
all offerors before contract award or request a sample from the
awardee after contract award.
Future requirements for these or similar items from this or
other UNICOR factories may be added to the resulting contract if
considered to fall within the scope of work and the price is
determined to be fair and reasonable.

items, refer to Section B.

Due to logistics and security, do not send offers via U.S. mail.
UNICOR's desired delivery is 60 days or sooner after issuance of
each delivery order. Vendors are required to provide their best
manufacturing/delivery time for evaluation, and delivery
schedule will be established at time of award.
