Solicitation # 0000040690
The California Department of General Services, Procurement Division, is soliciting bids to establish a multi-year Statewide Contract for Land Survey Products. The contract is mandatory for the California Department of Transportation and available for use by other state departments and local governmental agencies. The award will be made by OEM Silo to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest cost. The contract term is two years with three optional one-year extensions. To be eligible, bidders must provide pricing for all line items within a specific silo, submit a completed pricing workbook, and ensure all offered equipment is new and the latest model in current production. Deliveries must be made statewide within 30 calendar days of order receipt, with the contractor maintaining liability until final inspection and acceptance at the receiving point. Bidders must comply with specific laser safety standards, including IEC 60825-1 and ANSI Z136.1. The solicitation includes a 5 percent bid preference for certified small businesses and provides incentives for DVBE participation, although the minimum percentage requirement has been waived. Invoices must be submitted within seven calendar days of delivery, and bidders must specify their ability to accept CAL-Card Visa payments.

U.S. Department of Labor SMALL BUSINESS VENDOR OUTREACH SESSION INTERESTED IN INTRODUCING YOUR COMPANY TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR? To increase the U.S. Department of Labor's utilization of all types of small businesses, the Department's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) sponsors small business Vendor Outreach Sessions (VOS). These sessions offer small businesses the opportunity to market their capabilities directly to agency program officials and learn about potential DOL procurement opportunities. Conversely, Department procurement officials can learn more about the diverse small business resources available to meet their procurement needs. Department of Labor agencies buy a wide variety of goods and services valued at approximately $1.9 billion each year. Each DOL agency has a responsibility for procuring its own goods and services in support of the agency's mission. GENERAL PROCEDURES Vendor Outreach Sessions are held in the Department of Labor Great Hall from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon. Online registration will be available approximately 30 days prior to each session. The address is: U.S. Department of Labor Frances Perkins Building (Great Hall) 200 Constitution Avenue, NW (between 2nd and 3rd Streets, NW) Washington, DC 20210 Follow-up meetings with agency representatives may be scheduled for a later date, if mutually agreed upon. HOW DO I REGISTER? The next Vendor Outreach Session is scheduled for Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Vendors may sign up starting December 27, 2014 here. Registration for this session ends on Friday, February 19, 2014. If you have questions please call 202-693-7299. UPCOMING VENDOR OUTREACH SESSIONS: February 19, 2014 (Registration Opens January 20, 2014) April 23, 2014 (Registration Opens March 24, 2014) July 23, 2014 (Registration Opens June 23, 2014) October 22, 2014 (Registration Opens September 22, 2014) January 21, 2015 (Registration Opens December 22, 2014) MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR VISIT Before you register for a Vendor Outreach Session, please visit other sites on the Small Business Procurement Power Page to learn about the mission of each DOL agency and what each agency buys. The Procurement Power Page includes: What the Department of Labor Buys, a booklet which describes different agency functions; Department of Labor Annual Acquisition Plan and Procurement Forecast; Department of Labor Grants and Various Department Contracting Information. GETTING TO THE FRANCES PERKINS BUILDING Parking near the Department of Labor Frances Perkins Building is very limited. We strongly encourage use of the Metro. The Metro Judiciary Square Red Line is accessible at 4th and D Streets, NW (a diagonal walk from the Frances Perkins Building entrance at 3rd & C Streets, NW). ENTRANCE & CHECK-IN INFORMATION Enter the Department at the 3rd & C Streets, NW entrance, obtain visitor's clearance, check in at the VOS registration table located in the 3rd & C Streets lobby to confirm your arrival, then proceed to the Great Hall on the First Floor. If you enter the building at any other entrance, you must still check in at the VOS registration table in the 3rd & C Streets lobby. We look forward to seeing you.
