The Bureau of Reclamation is soliciting quotes for a firm fixed price purchase order to acquire two vertical turbine pumps for the Right Power House unwatering system. This procurement is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 333996. The selected contractor must provide complete pump systems, including motors, column and shafting, and discharge heads, ensuring they meet specific dimensional and performance requirements such as a minimum design capacity of 5,000 gpm at 83 feet and a minimum efficiency of 80 percent. Delivery of all equipment is required within 18 weeks after receipt of order to Grand Coulee, Washington. Following several amendments, the quote submission deadline was extended to July 6, 2018. Key technical clarifications specify that no separate controls are required as existing soft start 460 VAC controls will be used, and the motors will not run on a variable frequency drive. Additionally, the distance from the shaft centerline to the discharge flange face has a flexible range between 9.75 and 14 inches. Award will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable offer, and the successful vendor must coordinate a site visit after the award to verify measurements and drawings.
