The objective of this contract is to procure vessel construction management (VCM) services for a floating drydock capable of lifting an NSC and OPC for the Coast Guard YARD in Baltimore MD. The contract for VCM will include the following: • Award of contracts for construction of the Floating Drydock. • Overseeing and managing all aspects of construction, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. • Monitoring shipyard performance against the contract requirements and reporting production status and metrics to the Government. • Providing technical expertise and guidance to the shipyards. • Delivery of the Floating Drydock to the Coast Guard YARD in Baltimore, MD • Completing commissioning, testing and training of drydock in homeport. • Managing construction risks and issues.
