Veterans Park Pickleball Court Conversion Project

The City of Grand Terrace is soliciting proposals for the Veterans Park Pickleball Court Conversion Project to transform an existing concrete basketball court into four regulation pickleball courts. The scope of work includes cleaning and repairing the concrete surface, applying a commercial-grade acrylic sports court surfacing system, and striping the courts according to USA Pickleball standards. Additionally, the contractor must install four permanent, commercial-grade net systems with concrete footings and approximately 292 linear feet of galvanized chain-link fencing, consisting of 66 linear feet at 6 feet high and 226 linear feet at 4 feet high. Bids must be submitted electronically via the Public Purchase portal by July 6, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Qualified contractors must hold a valid California Contractor's License (Class A, B, C-13, or C-61/D-34), maintain active DIR registration, and comply with California prevailing wage laws and OSHA safety standards. The project requires specific insurance coverages, including general liability of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate. The solicitation includes four priced alternates: court divider net systems, black vinyl-coated fencing, 8-foot high perimeter fencing, and a fully enclosed perimeter fencing system with two pedestrian gates as introduced in Addendum #1. All work will be performed at Veterans Park in Grand Terrace, California, and final acceptance is contingent upon on-site inspection and City approval of materials and installation.
