Full Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT of the Government's intent to award a sole source contract to Open Roads Consulting, Inc., 103 Watson Rd., Chesapeake, VA, 23320-3928. The sole source authority is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The requiring activity for this requirement is the 460th Contracting Flight, Buckley Air Force Base, CO. The proposed contract action is for an upgrade on the VICADS closed circuit television (CCTV), from version 4.0 to 4.1, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Open Roads Consulting, Inc. on a sole source basis due to the proprietary nature of this equipment. The NAICS Code is 517510 and the small business standard size is 1500 employees. Any offerors believing they can provide the required upgrade on the VICADS CCTV may provide evidence for consideration by notifying this office in writing by e-mail. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this synopsis nor return the data provided. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely within the discretion of the Government.
