Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order to VIASAT, 6305 El Camino Real Carlsbad, CA 92009. The Government has a requirement for Inspection and Repair of two (2) Modems, Ruggedized, Outdoor CBM-400, w/EBEM (P/N: 1232346). The applicable NAICS code is 336999, PSC 5998. This action is conducted using procedures specified in FAR Part 12, with authorities found at FAR 12.102(a). ViaSat is the OEM for these items, maintains proprietary rights, and is the only vendor who can ensure 100% compatibility with fielded systems once repair is complete. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested firms must identify their interest and capability to provide the services identified no later than three (3) days after this notice posts. A solicitation will not be posted. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
