Visual Modifications (VISMOD) Platforms

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, using FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be seperately issued. Solicitation number W900KK-18-R-0031 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336390. The small business size standard is 1000 employees. This requirement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business concerns. All responsible small businesses may submit multiple quotations which shall be considered by the agency. It is anticipated that a firm fixed-price contract will be awarded on a competitive basis as a result of this synopsis/solicitation for the items found in the solicitation document's (RFP W900KK-18-R-0031) Schedule of Supplies. At the time of award, ACC-Orlando will create a contract for the purchase of six (6) BTR-90 APC VISMODs and six (6) T-72 Tank VISMODs. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract, ACC-Orlando may exercise options for additional production units. The options to purchase up to 48 additional units at the same price as the original contract may be exercised up to 18 months after date of contract. If any additional quantities are to be ordered, the contractor will be notified through the issuance of a written modification. Delivery terms for option items shall remain the same as the original contract. Closing date and time for receipt of offers is 11 May, 2018 at 4:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.
