CLARIFICATIOIN: Q: "Clarion NXR16" stated in the Attachment 1, MINIMUM CHARACTERISTICS is not available in the market. A: The government owns the NXR16 units and will install it ourselves. The requirement is written out in regards to the size (2-din) requirement to ensure that our NXR16 will fit in the audio space in the event that an "equal item" offered. The attached file "1 din audio" is an example of an unacceptable audio layout as our unit will not fit in that space. The Step Wagon meets this requirement. A vans just has to have a 2-din audio space open that won't block the view of the instrument panel when the navigation system is installed.
