The U.S. Department of Defense, through the Military Sealift Command’s Strategic Sealift Program Management Support Office in Norfolk, Virginia, is conducting market research under solicitation N32205-SS-N103-26-127 to assess industry capability and pricing for the voyage charter carriage of 46,000 metric tons of granite aggregates—23,000 metric tons of #57 granite and 23,000 metric tons of #89 granite—each to be loaded at Jamaica Gypsum Pier, Jamaica, and discharged at the Port of Palm Beach, Florida. The intended charter type is a voyage charter, with distinct load windows: June 18–30, 2026, for #57 granite and July 13–24, 2026, for #89 granite.
