Full Description

This synopsis is notification of the Governments intent to create two bridge Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) each in the amounts of $3M to incumbent BPA holders for Rental and Service of Latrine and Handwash Stations at Fort Irwin, CA. The bridge BPAs has become necessary due to unanticipated delays in the ongoing pre-award process for a follow-on contract. Without these bridge BPAs, Fort Irwin will have no contract vehicle in place to permit timely placement and service of latrine for the Installation mission and Rotational training. A determination not to compete this requirement is anticipated to be made pursuant to 10 USC 2304(C)(1) and FAR 6.302.1 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation for offers. No award will be placed solely on the basis of this notice, since synopsis of intent to place an order cannot be considered a request for proposals or offers. Responses to this notice will be used to determine if bon-a-fide competition exists and whether a request for proposal is appropriate or feasible. Response to this notice must be made within three calendar days after the posted date. Fort Irwin new competitive follow-on contract is being prepared for a base plus four one-year option periods.
