W--Provide Shower Units and Shower Maintenance for the Oregon Army National Guard

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is W90KMT-9048-6001 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Request for Quotes are due by 2 March 2009, 1:00 p.m. Oregon Local Time. The RFQ will result in a firm fixed price contract. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238290. The United States Property and Fiscal Office of the Oregon Army National Guard is soliciting quotes t o procure the following supply or services: Contractor shall provide supplies and services in support of pre-mobilization training at Camp Roberts, CA as follows: 1. Contractor to provide (6) 8-head shower trailers between April 1 and April 30, 2009. All trailers will be placed on Camp Roberts Tactical Vehicle Wash site. Exact placement to be identified later and coordinated with selected vendor. 2. Trailers must be set up by March 30, 2009 and fully operational by April 1, 2009. 3. Trailers must be self-powered as there is not sufficient power source available and trailers must have adequate internal lighting. 4. Trailers will be within 500ft of grey-water disposal site, placed on level concrete pad and connected via hose to gray water disposal point. 5. Trailers will be connected to water from washrack via hose. Any necessary hose or adaptor to be provided by contractor. Contractor may offer alternate proposal to provide fresh water input to trailers. 6. Contractor is encouraged to conduct a site visit. Coordinate with Robert Holmes, Chief of Plant, Camp Roberts at +1 (555) 000-0000. 7. Contractor will clean and sanitize trailers daily and provide the following: a. Any necessary maintenance b. Power generation c. Fuel replacement 8. Shower Trailer hours of operation will be 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM daily. Trailers will be accessible to contractor for servicing at when not in operation. The Offerors must be registered on the Central Contractors Registration database (CCR). Information concerning CCR requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling the CCR Registration Centers at +1 (555) 000-0000. Only contractors who are registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) can be awarded a contract. Offerors must have electronic funds transfer (EFT) capability. Offerors proposals shall be valid for a minimum of 30 days to be acknowledged in the offerors proposal. 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items (Jan 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the lowest priced offer which is both technically acceptable and shows satisfactory past performance.
