The US Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic (MLCLANT), Norfolk, VA is procuring the supply, installation, and removal of seating systems for US Coast Academy Commencement on 21 May 2008, located in New London, CT. The contractor shall provide all required supervision, labor, materials, and equipment for the assembly of rented and government owned bleacher systems, to include a rented filming platform. Also, the contractor shall supply, for purchase, Ultimate Seating (or fully compatible) components to the government as requested. Supply and installation include: (1) Rented: Portable filming platform, 10'w x 10'd x 4'h; (2) Government owned: Assemble government owned Ultimate Seating bleacher system in two sections providing approximately 490 seats total; and (3) Rented: Temporary bleacher system providing a minimum of 1000 seats that produces a seamless extension of existing grandstand at Cadet Memorial Field. Drawings and detailed specifications will be made available with the issuance of solicitation. This requirement will be a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 238390.
