It is the intent of this agency to award a sole source contract under the statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. This agency intends to award to Sutter Equipment Company, Novato, CA. The requirements for the trail equipment must meet the following specifications: Description of Equipment is as follows: SWECO 480 Trail Tractor with compactor, IHI Mini excavator NX15, IBEX Loader/ Carrier & Equipment Trailer. This equipment is rented without operator. Transportation of the equipment to the job site is the responsibility of the Forest Service. The period of the rental contract will be from approximately May 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008. Payments to be made monthly in arrears.
