1. The purpose of this amendment is to: a. clarify the following questions: i. Will the Government provide any proposal template, example or format? 1. Instruction for proposal content and format are included throughout Section B, Section C, Section H, Section I and Section L of the Solicitation. ii. How is this solicitation being evaluated? Will it be based on the total contract value (summation of all the CLINs)? 1. Proposal evaluation factor are included throughout Section M of the solicitation. iii. Can the Government extend the Solicitation due date, because I am awaiting SAR approval? 1. As indicated on the Pre-Solicitation "Award of this requirement will not be withheld pending SARs approvals. iv. Will the Government accept proposal from non-approve sources or sources waiting SAR approvals? 1. Interested parties can submit proposal prior to or at the proposal due date, but they cannot be evaluate or consider it for award unless and until they become an approved source at any time before award. v. Why is "Overhaul/Repair" mentioned repeatedly throughout this solicitation? Does this imply that we have control on whether a valve gets overhauled or repaired and if so, what constitutes a repair versus an overhaul? 1. Overhaul refers to the valve as an assembly and the repair refers to the repairable subassemblies or piece parts. All valves get overhauled. The repair of specific sub-assemblies or piece parts have specific repair criteria in accordance with the DMWR. If these parts exceed repair limits they must get replaced. Again all valves get overhauled. 2. The Government will extend the due date from 04 January 2016 to 18 January 2016 to give all interested parties time modified their proposal base on the clarification of this question. b. Amend SECTION B - SUPPLIES OR SERVICES AND PRICES/COSTS NARRATIVE B0001 to include Overhaul Support Services LLC (CAGE Code 52VE4) as an approved source for NSN: 2995-01-313-0691 P/N: 4046T28G15 and NSN: 2995-01-294-9867 P/N: 4046T28G14.
