An ACAN is a public notice indicating to the supplier community that a department or agency intends to award a contract for goods, services or construction to a pre-identified supplier, thereby allowing other suppliers to signal their interest in bidding, by submitting a statement of capabilities. The Department of National defence has a requirement for the supply of Specialized Flight Clothing Accessories - MSF830 antigravity garments in various sizes to support the CF18 Hornet aircrew for the next year. This contract will provide DND with sufficient stock to the CF188 ELE and will be DND’s last buy of this product. The Mustang MSF830 is a full coverage, increased protection AntiG garment designed to provide maximum protection in modern, high-performance fighter/attack aircraft during high G maneuvers.
Suppliers who consider themselves fully qualified and are able to meet the specified requirements may submit a statement of capabilities in writing to the Contracting Authority identified in this Notice on or before the closing date. The statement of capabilities must clearly demonstrate how the supplier meets the advertised requirements.
