The Department of National Defence has a requirement for 3,000 Dismounted Infantry Capability Enhancement (DICE) Systems to be delivered in Montreal, Qc and Edmonton, AB. The requirement includes “as and when requested” estimated quantities of 50 for special sizes for a period of 60 months from contract award date. This requirement also includes option to order additional quantities of 4,650 and spare parts for a period of 60 months from contract award date. The requirement also includes as and when requested Technical Investigations and Engineering (TIES) and Configuration Management Services. The requirement is partially limited to Canadian goods. The Canadian Content Policy applies only on the external fabric (CADPAT™ MT) required to manufacture the Pack System, the Close Combat Modular Fighting Rig (CCMFR) and the Pouches.
